Service Calls

Quality Pools & Spas offers at home service calls. We have fully trained service technicians who will come to your home to repair your swimming pool pump, filter, salt system, or spas, etc.

Simply phone the store 519-352-7551 and a staff member will take all your information down and book a service call for you.

When arranging your service call, please have any necessary info such as brand & model number so our technician can try to bring the proper parts with them to speed up your repair.

Payment is due the day services are completed. If you are unable to be present to pay when services are being done, please let us know so we can give you a total ahead of time, so you can provide a cheque to our crew, or phone the store and give your payment information so we can process the payment when our crew returns to the shop.

We now offer on-site payment options. For your convenience, you can now pay by Visa or Mastercard right on the spot.

Professional Water Analysis Center

At Quality Pools, we believe that safe water is important. We offer on-site professional water analysis, now offering 2 stations, offering faster and better customer service. When you bring us a sample of your pool water, we will test it and tell you exactly what you need to put in your pool to keep your water beautiful and safe all summer long.

Pool Opening & Closing Service

At Quality Pools & Spas, we know how eager the kids can be when it comes time to open the pool. So we offer a great “Pool Opening” service that will help get the season started.

Our fully trained crew will come to your home, with our own equipment, to professionally open your pool and get you started. And when fall approaches and the kids are ready to go back to school, we can assist you with our “Pool Closing” service.

Once again our fully trained crew will come to your home, and professionally close your pool. Our Opening & Closing Services are booked according to “zones”, much like that of the Chatham-Kent Recycling Services. This allows us to do other requested services from your zone on the same day.

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE:

Before we arrive:

  • You must leave your gate unlocked and have all your fittings and deck equipment(ladder/diving board) left out for us.
  • Please have your garden hose turned on from inside the house, so that we can start to fill your pool for you if needed. However, you will be responsible for keeping an eye on the water level and turning it off when it is high enough.
  • Make sure the power supply for the pump & filter are turned on at the fuse/breaker panel
  • Please ensure your pets are inside your home or away from where our crew will be working. If they are not, our crew will not be allowed to perform the service that day, and you will have to reschedule.

Salt Water Pools:

  • Note: Your salt chlorinator will NOT be turned on when we open your pool. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOT START THE CHLORINE GENERATOR UNTIL THE TEMPERATURE OF THE POOL WATER IS AT LEAST 65 DEGREES. In the meantime, you should be putting in some form of sanitzer regularly. You must then bring a water sample into the store to determine the appropriate amount of salt required to top up the level in the pool, as well as to determine the rest of the balancing chemicals required.

I/G or O/G Pool Opening includes:

  • Removing & cleaning cover
  • Re-installing pool fittings and deck equipment(ladder/diving board-must be accessible to our crew)
  • Prepare your pump, filter & heater for start-up
  • Start circulation(if water level is high enough)
  • Put in Solution 48 Opening Kit or Dazzle Opening Kit & 1 Container Liquid Chlorine (chemicals will only be put in pool if the water level is up and we are able to operate the pump and filter)
  • If pool is larger than 90,000L, you will require 2 Opening Kits

A/G Pool Opening includes:

  • Removing & cleaning cover
  • Re-installing pool fittings
  • Prepare your pump, filter & heater for start-up
  • Start circulation(if water level is high enough)

Weekly Maintenance Program

For those who would like to sit back, relax and enjoy their pool without having to worry about maintenance of the pool, we offer a wonderful “Weekly Maintenance Program”.
With this service, our crew will come to your home, with our own equipment, and professionally clean your pool. We then bring a sample of your water back to our lab for professional analysis to determine the proper chemicals to bring the following week to properly balance your water.

This cost of this program is based on an 8, 10, 12, 14 or 16 week program. Simply phone the store 519-352-7551, and provide our staff with some necessary info, and we will give you a quote based on a weekly program of your choosing. Please be prepared to tell our staff the size of your pool as well.
